Biddeford Blankets is more than a century old.  It is located in Mundelein, IL.  While many textile manufacturers in the United States closed their doors due to International competition such as low cost manufacturers located in developing nations, Biddeford struggled on.  Biddeford Blankets was recently acquired by Microlife, a Taiwan based manufacturer of small home-use medical devices. One of Microlife's many strengths is its efficient manufacturing expertise. On Sunday, September 8, 2002, the Microlife and Biddeford Blankets' management teams unveiled a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Biddeford's renewed energy is evident in this year's product offering.  All product lines are completely revamped with new packaging, colors and features. Biddeford is also launching several new product lines.
